(جغ) واحدة من ثلاثمائة وستين درجة طوليّة ينقسم إليها محيط الكرة الأرضيّة، وهي وحدة قياس زوايا خطوط الطول والعرض، لتحديد موضع مكانٍ ما على سطح الأرض.

(هس) جزء من تسعين جزءًا تنقسم إليها الزّاوية القائمة، أو من ثلاثمائة وستين جزءًا تنقسم إليها الدَّائرة.

🇬🇧 Translation: (Geometry) One part of ninety parts into which a right angle is divided, or of three hundred and sixty parts into which a circle is divided.

درجة الصِّفْر

: (جغ) نقطة البدء، وتقدَّر بعدها الدَّرجاتُ بالموجب وقبلها بالسَّالب.

🇬🇧 Translation: : (Geography) The starting point (Zero degree), after which degrees are estimated positively and before which they are estimated negatively.

حرق من الدَّرجة الأولى

: (طب) حرق بسيط يسبِّب احمرارَ البشرة أو الجلد بدون تقرّحه.

🇬🇧 Translation: : (Medicine) A minor burn that causes redness of the epidermis or skin without blistering (First-degree burn).

درجة الحرارة

: (فز) شِدَّة الطاقة الحراريّة في جسم ما أو في حيِّز من الفضاء، وتعتمد درجة الحرارة على متوسِّط طاقة حركة الجزيئات في حيِّز مُعيَّن، ويمكن التعبير عنها باستخدام أحد تدرُّجات عدّة مثل : تدريج فارنهايت وتدريج سلسيوس (التدريج المئويّ) .

🇬🇧 Translation: : (Physics) The intensity of thermal energy in a body or in a volume of space; temperature depends on the average kinetic energy of molecules in a given space, and can be expressed using one of several scales such as the Fahrenheit scale and the Celsius scale (Temperature).

درجة الصَّوْت

: (فز) الحالة التي عليها تمديد نغمته من حيث مقدارها في طبقة معيَّنة من الحدّة والثِّقل.

🇬🇧 Translation: : (Physics) The condition upon which its tone extension is based, in terms of its magnitude in a certain pitch level of sharpness (treble) and heaviness (bass) (Pitch / Tone).

درجة الانصهار

: (فز) درجة الحرارة التي تتغيّر عندها المادّة من الحالة الصُّلبة إلى الحالة السَّائلة.

🇬🇧 Translation: : (Physics) The temperature at which a substance changes from the solid state to the liquid state (Melting point).

درجة الغليان

: (فز) كمِّيَّة الحرارة اللازمة لبلوغ سائل درجة الغليان.

🇬🇧 Translation: : (Physics) The amount of heat required for a liquid to reach the boiling temperature (Boiling point).
